SOLAR SAVINGS CALCULATOR / SOLAR SUN THAI

Solar savings calculator
for Thailand.

Use this solar savings calculator for Thailand to explore an indicative estimate based on your electricity bill, daytime use and storage preference. It is a starting point for discussion; a site assessment and equipment proposal provide the detail needed for your decision.

The six core packages use a 5 kW system; larger arrays need a tailored design.

5 kWh is a modelling option; confirm the actual HomePlus / EnergyPro capacity in your quote.

Adjust usage, roof and cost assumptions

Use the kWh figure from your bill for a better estimate; otherwise bill ÷ rate is used.

4.50 is an editable example, not a current MEA/PEA tariff. Fixed and demand charges are not modelled.

4.0 is a planning assumption, not a roof-specific forecast. Weather, shading and orientation affect output.

Space check assumes 5 m² per kWp. Layout, clearances and structural suitability need a site survey.

Enter your quotation to see simple payback. HomeStart starts from ฿149,995; other package costs require a quote.

How the calculation works

Generation = array kWp × daily yield × 365/12. Direct solar use is capped by daytime demand. Battery modelling assumes 90% usable nominal capacity and 90% round-trip efficiency; energy delivered is capped by evening demand. Exported or unused energy receives no value. Savings are capped at the entered bill.

Simple payback = entered installed cost ÷ estimated annual saving. It excludes financing, maintenance, degradation, replacements, tariff changes, fixed charges and taxes. Results use daily averages rather than interval data and are indicative, not a performance guarantee or an installation quotation. Backup requires a compatible inverter, battery, changeover arrangement and defined essential loads.

For an accurate proposal, we need recent bills, your location, roof details and a site assessment. Check MEA or PEA for your supply and tariff.

SELF-CONSUMPTION

Use more solar on site

Daytime consumption often determines how much solar electricity directly reduces grid purchases. Unused generation does not automatically create income.

BATTERY VALUE

Storage needs spare generation

A battery can move surplus daytime energy into the evening. It does not increase panel output; capacity, efficiency and your load profile affect its value.

SITE ASSESSMENT

Confirm the real installation

Roof suitability, electrical supply, weather, shading and interval consumption data make a site-specific design more accurate than daily averages.
